Working for professional drivers

It is the goal of the UICR (International Union of Professional Drivers) to coordinate and represent the interests of professional drivers. With these goals in mind, the UICR is involved in improving traffic safety as well as work-related education. Members are required to provide support to members of other associations involved in traffic accidents or traffic violations.  The UICR organises every two year a world championship in safety driving, including ecological driving and ADR-handling.

New Drivers Checklists

New Drivers Checklists

In the spirit of enhancing road safety with the UN Decade of Action on Road Safety, the UICR has, in conjunction with the IRU und IRU Academy, produced two new professional truck driver-safety checklists, on the topics of ‘Vehicle Safety' and ‘First Aid'.  These checklists aim to best equip drivers with sufficient knowledge to avoid accidents on the roads and be prepared in emergency situations to save lives. These checklists are available free of charge for download through the UICR Website in English, French, and German.
